This is Keaton.


It may not look like it in this picture, but Keaton. Is. RELENTLESS.


From the moment I wake up, he starts following me around.


He sits and watches me workout. He lays at my feet while I drink my coffee. He stares at me while I’m getting ready.


He wants his walk.


It’s ALL he can think about…he doesn’t want food or to play…just his walk.




And guess what?


Every morning he goes on a walk.


Every. Single. Morning.


Rain or shine, hot or cold, I get my shoes and take him for a long walk.


And while it’s completely annoying when I just want to drink my coffee in peace…I have to say I’ve learned an important lesson from him.


If you want something in your life, you need to be relentless in your pursuit of it.


If you want to get healthier, don’t have a plan B. GET healthier.


If you want to be happier, do whatever it takes to feel happier every day.


Because here’s the thing…when there are things you want but you don’t fully commit to going and getting them, you give ourself a lot of “exit ramps”.


When things get hard, when things go wrong, when people are jerks, when you have a bad day, it’s soooooo easy to just give up on yourself.


Unless you’re relentless.


Because if you’re relentless in your quest to get healthier you’re going to get your shoes on and exercise even if you don’t feel like it.


If you’re relentless in your quest to make your mornings better, you’re going to clean that kitchen even if you’re exhausted.


If you’re relentless in your quest to be happier, you’re going to show up for your happiness instead of numbing up EVEN when you’re mad at your partner, your boss was a jerk, the day was so long.


So be like Keaton.


Be relentless in the name of your happiness, your joy, your life.
