- Most of us have been taught to think that if you are experiencing a negative emotion, then something has gone wrong and you *must* fix it
- That all feelings are simply information generated by your mind, your body (what!)
- Feelings cannot be avoided or corrected by THINKING
- All feelings are nothing more than something to experience — they are not dangerous, they are not fearsome, they are not “real.” They really are just feelings. So, feel them, and then keep going.
